Host Partner – Community Foundations of Canada

A Message from Monica Patten, President and CEO,
Community Foundations of Canada

Community Foundations of Canada

The Next Phase is Now

While serving as a host of the Network, Community Foundations of Canada will seek to build on the success of the last 10 years of work, engaging existing as well as new participants in topics and issues that build their individual and organizational knowledge, skills and community leadership roles, foster transatlantic and cross border relationships and networks, and add to the growing field of community foundation development around the world.

TCFN’s success has been the result of the knowledge and skill of its participants, leadership demonstrated by members of the previous management team at the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the wide-ranging agenda it laid out for itself in 1991.

Community Foundations of Canada (CFC), the national membership organization for Canada’s community foundations, is pleased to serve as the current host for TCFN.

Ever since the inception of TCFN over ten years ago, CFC and its member community foundations have been active participants. A well respected association known around the world for its programs, materials, and conferences, CFC will draw upon its international and cross cultural experience and expertise in philanthropy to provide enriching dialogue, valuable network building opportunities, and informative resources to TCFN participants, community foundation leaders and practitioners, and those interested in the work of community foundations.
